Eric leads the Applied Innovation Program, which focuses on harnessing cost, performance, and business model disruptions in the energy sector to improve the well-being of people and the planet everywhere. Prior to joining the Alliance, he co-founded and led the Africa Energy Program at RMI. He has collaborated with governments, utilities, and Fortune 500 companies across Africa, China, and the United States to improve energy systems’ reach, reliability, economics, and environmental impact and accelerate renewable energy resource deployment.

Eric received a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Energy Engineering, both from Stanford University.
